Pre-registration Examination for Pharmacist Interns

The pre-registration examination is one of the compulsory steps towards registration as a pharmacist. As a Pharmacist Intern, you are required to sit for a compulsory practice examination to help acclimatise yourself to the online examination conditions prior to writing the pre-registration examination.

To qualify for the pre-registration examination, a Pharmacist Intern should have completed a minimum of five (5) months of the internship, submitted at least six (6) CPD entries and be competent in three (3) CPD entries by the time of the examination booking. Interns should also ensure that three (3) favourable progress reports have been submitted by their Tutor.

A total of 153 Pharmacist Interns wrote the pre-registration examination in March 2024 and attained an 84.97% pass rate, 536 Pharmacist Interns wrote in August 2024 with a 95.34% pass rate, and 211 Pharmacist Interns wrote in October 2024 with a 95.73% pass rate.

Pharmacist Interns repeating the examination are required to complete both sections of the examination regardless of their success in either the calculations or general sections in their previous attempt. We wish the Pharmacist Interns who are moving on to Community Service in 2025 all the best for their future endeavours.
